Martine Beijer

Martine Beijer (1986) is an independent artist, joiner and interior creator from Rotterdam. Two decades of creating experience made her into a true artisan with a keen eye for detail. She stands out as a woman in a men’s world in the most positive way thinkable. 

Martine is an authentic personality with a strong vision in building and art. She listens to her inner spirit and doesn’t submit to trends or fashion. As a creator, she inspires many viewers and followers with her creative projects on the popular Dutch daily tv show ‘Eigen Huis & Tuin: lekker leven’ (RTL4) and on social media.  

Martine transforms art into furniture and furniture into art. 

Creating is an expression of Martine’s personality: edgy but rounded, colourful, spiritual, but also very much down to earth. She sees beauty in what others discard and seeks the hidden beauty and inner soul of furniture or even old suitcases. 

Martine combines her artistry and creativity with craftsmanship, resulting in unique and very personal pieces of upcycled furniture. In this world of ever-changing trends and mass production, she believes in the power of unicity and sustainability.  Every piece Martine crafts is unique.
