Born in Surinam, living between there and Amsterdam, and being raised by a creative mother had influence over Buddhaboi’s character development. Seeing and managing the world through his eyes is equivalent to creative adaptation and exploitation of possibilities unnoticeable through the naked eye. His childhood although rough, was already immersed in juggling athletics and playing drums and piano as a form of escapism. In early adulthood, his interest turned to screenwriting and film culture. On the side, he would unleash his creativity by redesigning clothes that displeasure him. Not long after, he found comfort in the exploration of the art of the culinary culture.
Being the Jack of all trades is fuelled by finding ways to express internal emotions in the absence of words and show his experience digested and presented through visual arts.
